These usually revolve around working better together as a team, problem solving, earning bogus certificates, or any other number of other by-the-numbers classroom instructions. All of these typically entail being trapped in a conference room with total strangers where we're each asked to be truly honest and open with each other. "I get totally fahklump...Hello Dearest Linda~

"I get totally fahklumpt" and then i figured it was a "ron-word" and you probably made it up as it so epitomizes what you are describing for some odd reason..."

HA! No, it's actually a yiddish word for confused. If you google it, you'll see!

I LOVE that word!!!!

"but difficult to have to say back verbatim ANYTHING like this...selling is an art not a quiz...how silly!"

OMG...thank you for saying that because you're 100% correct! Selling is an art not a quiz.

"i'm surprised they wouldn't value the abilities of their employees' imagination and wit as well as info about a product.'

I truly think they DO realize that and know that when we get back on the sales floor, we're ALL going to add our own unique way of selling. However, I think the role-playing is more to see you if we retained the information, which I personally have a hard time doing at first.

"i always love the person who remembers ME not the ingredients in a given cream..."

Yes, and that is something I try to do with my regular customers. People LOVE to hear their name remembered. I sell by building a trusted relationship with my customers, so they come back to me. In today's world...customer service is a lost art.

Glad you like my new header and thank you for noticing. I wanted to change things up a bit on my blog (house cleaning). I also wanted to try a more narrow header instead of my other larger one. I think it makes reading my homepage blog post a bit easier when it downloads.

And yes....I placed you under 'art blogs' months ago. I hope you like it under that category.

Always so wonderful to see your comments, dear friend! Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you're feeling better and that your computer is mended.

Have a FAB weekend!

xoxoxoxoxoxoxRonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15977027331657615697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092603952139807812.post-60058922423852956802011-05-20T21:22:42.769-04:002011-05-20T21:22:42.769-04:00*sigh*

Seriously--'fidelity to...*sigh*

NO thank you.

Seriously--'fidelity to model' requires that you role play to get credentialed in some of the therapies you get trained in. And that's not once--that's every six months to show that you actually can DO what they trained you in. And THEN you can say you provide the therapy model.....maybe... In this data driven world, that's becoming more and more the 'practice'. And people 'buy it' because of the data.

Hello?
Garbage in, garbage out--you can get data to say anything you like.

Example: Let's count the number of folks who laughed at the photo. And then the number who immediately frowned because their legs are nicer than MINE......errrrr.....ummm....I mean their legs are nicer than yettobenamed?

Fine.
I'm not sulking--really.....
Oh wait--data is only as good as the honesty level of the people providing it--yeah, that's what I was trying to say.
Well, that and I CAN do a role play when required. I can also mess with the other person who's suppose to be doing it with me so they get so flustered they just can't remember what it was that they were suppose to be doing.

Now THAT is a good time!!!!!! *laughing*Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14408403855260279799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092603952139807812.post-9880020021195624772011-05-20T21:13:53.972-04:002011-05-20T21:13:53.972-04:00Hello Bijoux~
