The top of Pier 66 reminds me of the Statue of Liberty! And THAT yacht, oh.my.gawsh I want to go on a three hour tour but NOT have the Skipper and Gilligan get me stranded for three years.
Your video was great. I could just imagine myself there in Ft Lauderdale ogling those Stud Muffins! Right before your caption popped up I thought the SAME thing! I'll bet there are LOTS of Stud Muffins down there though--got get down to Florida one day soon. Won't be this year though **sigh** too much going on for a real vaca this summer.
I can't believe how fast your vacation went! Seems like just yesterday you were getting ready to leave at 4am!

Isn't it beautiful? A lot has changed since I lived here, they've really spruced Lauderdale up! This is the off-season here, so it's not as crowded as it is during the peak season.

Yes, I'm having such a great time! I can hardly believe I've been here for almost two weeks already?!?!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the photos. The one of downtown Lauderdale is one of my favs. It's funny because if you look at all the outdoor photos I took that day, many of them appear as though they were taken on different days because the sky looks clear and bright in some shots yet, cloudy in others. Florida weather can be very strange - sunny one second, cloudy the next. The day I took these shots it was very windy and threatening rain, which it did later that night.
