My inspiration for this post came from my dear, longtime blogging friend, Debbie @ Musings by an ND Domer's Mom, who is not only a gifted...
There was lots of love and romance going on in Philadelphia this past weekend.
Much to my delight, Sunday was a very busy day in this city with couples having their wedding pictures taken. And I'm so glad I had my camera with me so that I was able to capture the love and romance being captured by their wedding photographers.
Not only did I spot one couple, but THREE! I swear to god, it seemed like everyone decided to get married on that day.
And in case you're wondering why these photographs were all shot in the middle of a busy street like Broad Street, the view of City Hall in the background are what many wedding couples like to capture within their photographs. Broad Street is very popular for taking wedding pictures.
Here's the view...
I noticed this first couple late afternoon and quickly grabbed my camera to get a few shots. And I wasn't the only one taking photographs because the sidewalk was filled with people holding up their iPhones; snapping pictures.
I first thought they were filming a scene from movie on the street, because the setup was so elaborate. Take a look...
What a handsome wedding couple, hu?
Isn't her dress beautiful? And I think she looked stunning in it!
LOVE the vintage car. It looks like a scene from the movie, The Godfather!
And no sooner had I turned away and walked further down Broad Street towards City Hall, I spotted this second wedding couple with their photographer...
Then later, early evening, I spotted this third wedding couple having their photographs taken...
And I'm so pissed because I missed getting a shot of the groom kneeling down on one knee; holding a wedding ring (in a small jewelry box) up to the bride, as he proposed...
Yes, it was a very romantic day here in Philly!
Ahhh....amore!
Have a super week, y'all!
