Post updates by email:

Hey there folks!

As most of you already know, I’ve been in Florida since last Saturday.

I will be sharing more about my time here in future posts, once I get back to Philly. But I wanted to publish a quick post to wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY, and to also say THANK YOU for all your supportive and loving comments in my previous post because they were a great comfort.

You guys and gals are the BEST!

Just to let you know, Tom and I will be spending tomorrow with family and friends.

This year, Thanksgiving has even more meaning for my brother and I because we are so grateful for everyone who has reached out during a very challenging time, supporting us with a tremendous amount of tender loving care.

We are truly blessed.

I will be staying in Florida until next Wednesday, as my mother’s memorial service will be on Monday.

I won’t be posting again until I get back east, but will be responding to comments when time permits.

Again, I want to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving Day.

Know that I will be thinking of you all; feeling immensely grateful that you are a BIG part of my life.

Thank you everyone!

I leave you now with some photographs I took this week.

Please enjoy….

Me in the dressing room of Stein Mart, waiting for my brother to try on and model a new pair of jeans.

Tom and I went to a really cool bakery shop to pick up some desserts for Thanksgiving dinner

Table of various pies.

And what would Thanksgiving dinner be without PUMPKIN PIE?

YUM-MY!

Update:  Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm back in Philly. I'm going to spend the next couple of days catching up on reading your blogs and will be posting again on Monday....X

Yes, can you believe that? And you can also take puppies to restaurants, as long as you eat outside. My brother and I took Cosmo to a great restaurant the first night I was here and he sat outside with us while we ate. They even bring out a bowl of water for your dog!

  72. Hiya Pam~

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you too!

Isn't Cosmo a cutie? He just recently got a haircut and he looks like a little lion with a puffy tail - HA!

Thank you so much for your thoughts. Yes, we knew the day was inevitable, but she went downhill so fast it took my brother and I by surprise. She passed away very peacefully, calmly, and surrounded by love. It's the way she always told me she wanted to go, so it was a beautiful blessing. She died with a smile on her face.

These past 10 days with my brother have been an absolute delight. We've spent a lot of time together talking and sharing; bonding even closer. I'm so glad we were there for each other.

Hope all is well with you, my friend. Thanks for stopping by and for your care and concern.
