This is the time of year when nature begins to awaken from a long, deep slumber.
Trees begin to bud; flowers begin to blossom; the earth begins to spout a fresh green carpet.
In as much as I relish fall and winter, I truly enjoy this time of the year because for me it represents a time of rebirth – wiping the sleep from my eyes and viewing the world anew.
Spring lets me know that I can begin again, taking what I have learned in the past and apply it to the present. There are no such things as mistakes or wrong choices, as long I learned something.
The seasons of nature are the perfect analogy to the cycles in life.
I live. I rest and gestate. I am altered and then rebooted.
Earlier this week I took a long walk around the city; snapping photographs. And it was a stunning day! The sun was shining, the air was crisp and dry, and there was a buzz of excitement in the energy that surrounded me.
Here are some images I captured, which reminded me that spring has sprung; bringing with it light, color, fragrance, and reboot.
Please enjoy…
