I dedicate this post to my blogging buddy, Dale, who loved and admired Audrey Hepburn as much as I did. And not only for her talent as an actress, but also for her dedication and devotion to UNICEF.

To me, Audrey Hepburn was the quintessential definition of a true movie star. She had a special magnetism and presence on the silver screen, yet at the same time had a very approachable and down-to-earth quality.

She reminded me very much of a delicate fawn - soft, sweet and gentle, yet very powerful.

And her beauty went beyond the physical. Her beauty came from a light within.

She was what I called, an earth-angel.

Today, I would like to share a mini tribute to Audrey Hepburn, by posting images from Tiffany's windows. And sharing a few photographs from her movie classic, Breakfast at Tiffany's.

It just so happens that I live not too far from the Tiffany's in Philadelphia. And as you know from past posts, I have occasionally shared photographs of Tiffany's amazingly creative window displays.

So, early this week I took a walk by Tiffany's and snapped a few photos of their seasonal Christmas displays.

And OH...MY...GOD...are they ever faaaaaaaaaabulous!

Here, take a look...

*I edited these photographs by bumping up the highlighted areas; created a frosty border; then added the snowfall. I wanted to create an almost storybook feel to them.

Seeing these windows made me feel all cozy and holidayish. I suddenly had the desire to jump inside the displays and roll around in the snow like a dog.

And since we haven't really gotten any snow yet this year, it made me smile to add the snowflakes.

Perhaps it's an omen of what's to come!

I leave you now with one last photograph of the ethereally beautiful...Audrey Hepburn.

P.S. Dale, I promise to snap you a photo of the Tiffany window that Audrey stood in front of in NYC, the next time I'm there. I'll be going in January, so stay tuned!

Have a beautiful weekend everyone!
