Over the weekend, I discovered an entertaining website, Make Me Babies, where you can see what your baby will look like by uploading two photographs and then morphing your facial features together; creating a baby.

You can either use a photograph of yourself and your real-life partner, husband or wife, or you can choose to use photographs of celebrities.

Below, are some of my favorite celebrities and our imaginary babies...

Abigail (Bette Midler and me)

I laughed when I saw this because Abigail looks just like Bette in the musical, Fiddler on the Roof, doesn't she?

Between my background in theater and Bette's phenomenal talent, I think Abigail is destined for a career in show business!

Dylan (Queen Latifa and me)

I may be partial, but isn't Dylan a handsome little boy? Not only do I think Queen Latifa is smart and talented, but I also think she's such a beautiful lady.

Ashton (Julianne Moore and me)

Ashton definitely got my eyebrows and nose, and Julianne's peaches and cream skin, and red hair.

Darryl (Barbra Streisand and me)

Darryl got Barbra's eyes, and my forehead and hairline. Yet, I'm perplexed as to where he got his red hair?!?

And being a child of Streisand, I can only imagine that when Darryl starts to speak, the first words out his mouth will be..."People, people who love people, are the luckiest people in the world."

Jonah (Ellen Degeneres and me)

Considering that Ellen and I are both gay, I think it's hilariously ironic that Jonah came out in this photograph wearing a hard hat, like one of the members from the Village People...

Rebecca (Penelope Cruz and me)

Outside of having my blue eyes, Rebecca is the spitting image of Penelope, isn't she?

And lastly, I morphed my face with Clive Owen's, who I happen to think is such an attractive man. And if it were possible for he and I to have a baby, this is what she would look like...

Charlotte (Clive Owen and me)

Charlotte got both our blue eyes, but Clive's dark curly hair.

Oh hush, I can dream can't I?

Have a grrrreat week, y'all!

  1. There is a curious resemblance in all the babies, don't you think? Whatever will they think of next? Must search for a good looking man to share my photo with... grins.

I guess some would take this seriously, the way the sex of a child now has to be known before the birth. Call me old fashioned but I think I preferred the surprise element of giving birth.

  2. I think you need to do some questioning with those celebrities, because none of those kids look like you, Ron! Bahahaha! Seriously, why did none get your beautiful eyes?

It would be fun for me to try this with my husband and see if any of the results look like our own kids? I wonder if you can get better results using childhood pictures of yourself?

  3. Lol Ron, you crack me up! "Abigail looks just like Bette in the musical, Fiddler on the Roof, doesn't she?" Yes, she does! I love Bette Milder. I saw her in concert once (in Vegas) and she was amazing. She's one those singers whose voice sounds just as great live as it does recorded.

I'm also fan of Ellen Degeneres. Funny, funny lady! And her humor is so spontaneous.

I'm going to have to try this with pictures of my husband and me. I'm curious to see if they resemble my own children.

    Have a great week, Ron!

  4. Good morning Valerie!

"There is a curious resemblance in all the babies, don't you think?"

Yes, there is; especially in resembling the celebrities.

" Must search for a good looking man to share my photo with... grins."

Try it because it's so much fun! They have a great variety of celebrity photographs that you can choose from.

" Call me old fashioned but I think I preferred the surprise element of giving birth."

I agree with you 100%. I would prefer not knowing the sex of my child before the birth. Like you, I think there is something exciting about the element of surprise.

Thanks so much for stopping by, dear lady. Have a super week!

    X to you and Joe

  5. "I think you need to do some questioning with those celebrities, because none of those kids look like you, Ron! Bahahaha! "

HA! I agree with you! I can see a "slight" resemblance of myself in some of these photographs, but they mostly took on the facial characteristics of the celebrities.

"It would be fun for me to try this with my husband and see if any of the results look like our own kids?"

Yes, I thought the same thing. I wondered if a husband and wife used photographs of themselves, if the babies would come out looking like their own kids. If you try it, please let me know.

" I wonder if you can get better results using childhood pictures of yourself?"

Good point! I think I may try that and see if it changes the results of my pictures.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a faaaabulous week!

  6. Hey there Elaine!

HA! Doesn't she look A LOT like Bette?

"I saw her in concert once (in Vegas) and she was amazing. She's one those singers whose voice sounds just as great live as it does recorded."

OMG, I did too! I saw her in NYC in 1975, in her concert, Clams on the Half Shell. Faaaaaaaabulous concert! And I agree, her voice sounds amazing live! She is such an incredible live performer!

"I'm also fan of Ellen Degeneres. Funny, funny lady! And her humor is so spontaneous."

Yes, Ellen is so brilliant in her spontaneous delivery. What a quick mind!

"I'm going to have to try this with pictures of my husband and me. I'm curious to see if they resemble my own children."

If you do, please let me know the results.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a terrific week!

The one of Penelope Cruz is uncanny! And speaking of which, I think she is such a beautiful woman.

I'll be trying this because my girlfriend and I have often discussed what our children would look if we ever get married.

    Entertaining post, dude!

  9. Hola Denise!

"The one of Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, and Penelope Cruz look a lot like them!"

Yes, don't they??? Especially the one of Penelope Cruz! And I purposely tried to find a picture of her that closely looked like the baby to show the resemblance.

"And I agree with you about Clive Owen. What a hottie! I think may try morphing my photograph with his to see what the results are Lol!"

HA! Yes, a hottie indeed! Woof!

Thanks so much for stopping by, girl. Have a fantastic week!

  11. Never amazed at the sites people pull up...how on earth did you run across this one! If I had more time right now I'd throw in the hubby and my photos just to see if they look anything like our kids, ha! Maybe it would come up with a baby Ashton Kutcher since people always say one of our sons resemble him, ha! Stranger have asked my mom why she had his picture on her wall and she'd say he was her grandson. They'd reply excitedly, "Ashton is your grandson?" And then she'd fess up and tell them it wasn't him but her grandson.

  12. I'm oddly tempted to try this using my ex-wife (mother of my kids) just to see how close to accurate the app really is!

  14. Yes Ron, you and I have the same taste in men! Clive Owen is one good-looking man! Love your baby girl, Charlotte! And I laughed my ass off at the Village People!

I like your choices of celebrities. Queen is one stunning lady! And so are Julianne and Penelope.

"I can only imagine that when Darryl starts to speak, the first words out his mouth will be..."People, people who love people, are the luckiest people in the world." LOL!

Later this week, I'm going to check out this website and see what I come up with.

    Fun post, Ron!

  15. Hiya Suzi!

"...how on earth did you run across this one!"

I found it from another blog I read (The Bloggress), where she posted a photo of she and her husband that she made on this website.

"Maybe it would come up with a baby Ashton Kutcher since people always say one of our sons resemble him, ha! Stranger have asked my mom why she had his picture on her wall and she'd say he was her grandson. They'd reply excitedly, "Ashton is your grandson?"

HAHAHA! OMG, that is so funny! And you're not going to believe this but there is a celebrity picture of Ashton Kutcher on this website, so you can morph your photo with his and see if the baby comes out looking like your son!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a faaabulous week!

" and Clive too!! JUST saw a rerun movie last week that he was in with Jen Aniston "Derailed", have you seen it?"

No I have not, but I went over to You Tube before leaving this comment and watched the trailer. OMG...it looks like such a great suspense film! I'll put it on my list of must-watch movies. Thanks for letting me know.

  21. Oh, man, I'm definitely going to have to try this. This is my chance to see what it would look like if my boyfriend and I were able to have a baby. You know, if we were younger. And if I hadn't had a hysterectomy.

  22. Good grief, it's the Children of the Ron! Love this post, buddy! It's got all the joy of having a kid and none of the grief. I do admire your choice of mates. They should be honored to have your babies! I'm going to have to try this, but I promise to stay away from Clive Owen!

  23. You certainly make pretty babies Ron! There must be a cupid's bow mouth in your past though because they all got it!

" There must be a cupid's bow mouth in your past though because they all got it!"

It's funny you mentioned that because I noticed the same thing in practically ALL these photographs - the cupid's bow! And I wonder where they got it because my lips are void it. So you must be right, there must be a cupid's bow somewhere in my past.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend!
