Being that it's one of my favorite decorative holidays, and being that it's tomorrow, I wanted to share this Halloween themed post.

I found these recipes online and thought they were incredibly creative and so festively Halloween, well, I just had to share them with you.

So please enjoy some spooky-ooky Halloween eats...

  1. Haha. I like the banana ghosts and monster mouths but I wouldn't have the patience even to attempt preparing one of those dishes. I wish I shared your enthusiasm for Halloween. We had bonfire night to contend with and that's enough. Charlie was a right state with all the fireworks. As you know I don't approve of fireworks and neither does Charlie. Then on top of that we have Halloween. Poor cat will be demented. Having said all that I hope you enjoy yours. At least it's colourful! Be sure and share more pictures.

  2. Those are great, Ron! I follow you on Pinterest, but I'm not sure you are ever on? Some of the stuff on there is so creative, but also, who has that much time on their hands? LOL!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the costumes tonight. Happy Halloween!

  3. Love them, Ron! They are all so creative! I especially like the monster mouths and wicked witch fingers Lol! Halloween is one of my faves as well.

    Fun post. Happy Halloween!

  4. Ron, thank you -- these are great! I especially love the spider pizza and cupcakes (must be the web designer in me, huh?!)

While Halloween isn't my favorite holiday by a long shot, I so enjoy the season it shows up in. Fall is spectacular, any way you slice it. The weather is practically perfect, and our trees are showing up in their autumnal dresses. Oh, that reminds me -- I'm going to have to post some pictures showing the colors soon!

    Happy Spooky-Day, my friend! xx

  5. Hey there Valerie!

Aren't they so clever? I found SO MANY fun and clever ideas online, but narrowed them down to just these 10.

"I wish I shared your enthusiasm for Halloween."

I think the reason I'm so into Halloween is because when I was a kid, both my parents loved Halloween, so they made it very special for us.

I'm not a fan of fireworks either. Not only because of their danger, but also I don't like sound of fireworks. I find it very jarring.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a great Monday and week!

    X to you and Charlie

I agree with you, who has that much time on their hands to be on all the social media? Yes, I'm on Pinterest but don't spend much time their at all. I mainly share skincare, makeup, and grooming products that I think are really good. But other than that, I'm hardly ever on Pinterest.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

"I especially like the monster mouths and wicked witch fingers Lol! "

I LOVE them especially as well. I had a hard time selecting just these 10 because I saw so many great ones online.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, my friend. Happy Halloween!!!!!

"I especially love the spider pizza and cupcakes (must be the web designer in me, huh?!)"

    HAHAHAHAHA! Yup, must be!!!

Don't ya just love this time of the year? Fall is (to me) the BESTEST season of all because of all the beautiful color it brings. Also, the Fall clothing, foods, and weather.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend! Have a spooktacular Halloween!

    X to you and Dallas

  9. Oh my god Ron, I LOVE these!!!! The spider pizza and monster mouths are so cute. I also love the veggie skeleton!

I love Halloween too. I went to a party on Saturday night dressed as a cat. Tonight, I'm staying home and handing out candy to the kids who stop by for Trick or Treat. So far, I haven't had many at my door.

    Happy Halloween, Ron! X

  10. Hola Denise!

Aren't they all so cleverly fabulous? The veggie skeleton was one of the last ones I found online before publishing this post. I had a hard time picking these out because I saw so many great Halloween ideas!

" I went to a party on Saturday night dressed as a cat."

Oh, how fun! Being that Halloween fell on a Monday, the parties were all weekend long here. Yet oddly enough, I didn't see as many Halloween costumes today or this evening.

I hope you get LOTS of trick or treaters tonight!

Thanks so much for stopping by, girl! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

So many cute and deliciously spooky ideas for food! Love it! We often make bloody fingers with ketchup and veggie sausages.

  13. LOL! Great selection of Halloween eats, Ron. I especially like the Witch Fingers and the Monster Mash soup! But I really dig the Monster Mouths too :)

My girlfriend and I attended a Halloween Bash with another couple we're friends with. We didn't dress up in a costume but we had a great time.

Hope your Halloween was wicked, dude!

  14. Oh Ron, I love the stuffed peppers! I also like the monster mouths. Those pumpkin quesadillas sound so delicious, I may have to make those around Thanksgiving.

What a cute post! I enjoy Halloween too, but I enjoyed it more when I still had my kids at home. I was surprised by how many trick or treaters we got last night. We had several big bags of candy yet I thought we'd run out.

Hope you had a Happy and fun Halloween, Ron! xo

  16. Wow, these really are some spooky dishes! And so wildly creative! I know my mom would've gotten a kick out of these. I'm almost afraid to eat them--but I'll manage!

    Happy Halloween, buddy!

  17. I used to make "ghosts in a graveyard" every year for Halloween when the kids were young. It was essentially chocolate pudding topped with crumbled Oreos for the dirt, gummy worms, Milano cookies for the tombstones, Cool Whip for the ghosts, and candy corn pumpkins for decoration. It was fun to make, looked cool, and tasted great.

Hope you had a spook-tacular Halloween, my friend!

  18. Ron!!! My most favorite of all is those stuffed peppers!! What a RIOT! So many great food ideas can be found online...anything you can possibly dream up! We had a rather quiet Halloween as we do not get any trick or treaters where we live...it is too rural. So, we drive a few miles in to the town where people go all out! I love to see the little kids all dressed up. Brings back memories of when my daughter was small. Hope you had a Happy Halloween! I adore ALL your photos!! xo Jeanne and the girls

  19. Hiya Matt!

Aren't they all GREAT? The monster mouths are a hoot, aren't they? Very clever!

Hope you had fun at your Halloween party last night. I didn't dress up either, I had to work all day and by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was eat something, take a shower, and then pour myself a nice glass of red wine!

Thanks so much for stopping by, buddy. Have a super week!

Elaine, I was thinking the same thing. I may make them sometime this month for Thanksgiving. I love the ingredients, especially the goat cheese. Yummy!

"I was surprised by how many trick or treaters we got last night. We had several big bags of candy yet I thought we'd run out."

That's great to hear because it seems that over the years, kids don't trick or treat door to door. It's more like they go to shopping malls, which to me doesn't seem the same.

Thanks so much for stopping by, neighbor! Have a great rest of your week. Hope you're enjoying this fabulous Autumn weather!

  21. OMG Jeanne, don't you just LOVE the stuffed peppers? I think they are so hilarious and clever! Yes, you're right...you can find so many great food ideas online. In fact, I just discovered a great pizza recipe.

I know what you mean. Living in a city you see lots of older kids and adults in costumes going to parties, however, you don't see many or really any younger kids. I too miss the old days of going out in the neighbor. Wasn't it fun?

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Hope you and the girlz had a Happy Halloween! I saw their costumes on Instagram and they were so cute!

    Have a FAB week!!!!

  23. Hey there Rob!

Aren't they so creative and cute? My parents loved Halloween, so they would always make a big deal about it, with decorations, costumes, and candy!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, buddy. Hope your Halloween was spook-tacular! Have a great rest of your week!

  24. No way! The monster mouths are so cool!!!!! My daughter's friend made peanut butter cookies with spiders on top.... the body was a reeses... they looked SO GOOD. Sadly I only saw a picture - they were already gone when I went over. :)

The peppers are good looking too - a great idea.

This halloween was kind of a bummer - there are SO FEW KIDS now going door to door! I think all of them are doing trunk or treat and going to the mall. So I ate candy. Lots and LOTS of candy! ha ha!

    Have a fantastic November!!!

  25. Oh my! I tried so hard to pick a favorite but simply couldn't!! The peppers made me LOL and the quesadillas look delicious. Of course, I love the chocolate spider. Halloween is so much fun. And so very multicultural! :-D Hope you had a spooktacular time.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The spiders are adorable. Someone had made some of those witches fingers for the Halloween party I went to. But all those things look like a lot of work to me!

  27. Hey there Katherine!

Aren't the monster mouths the coolest? I love the use of peanut butter!

"My daughter's friend made peanut butter cookies with spiders on top.... the body was a reeses... they looked SO GOOD. "

OMG... that sounds so creative and YUMMY because I love Resses!

I thought the peppers were genius because I would have never thought to do something like that.

Living in a city, you don't get to see many trick or treaters; especially where I live because it's right in Center City, where it's many businesses, universities, restaurants and bars. Most of the families and kids live outside of Center City. I miss the days when kids went door to door.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a fabulous November too! Gosh, can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving?

  28. Hellooooooo there Lisa!

Are't the peppers so CUTE and CLEVER? They made me Lol as well!

I adore Halloween because it's a time of the year when my mother and father made such a special time for us kids. They loved it, so they in turn made it fun and special time for us.

And you're right, it IS very multicultural!

Hope your Halloween was fun and enjoyable with your grandchildren. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh how fun! And you're right, they do look like a lot of work!

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't see many of the items I blogged about in my previous post because I still see them in the store I shop. I wonder if Trader Joe's carry different stuff in different stores?!?

" I did get a sweet potato pie with a maple bourbon glaze that looks delicious, though!"

OH. MY GOD...I am going to Trader Joe's again tomorrow so I'll look for that. It sounds heavenly delicious!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a great rest of your week!

  30. What a fun and festive Halloween post, Ron! I especially like the stuffed peppers LOL! and the monster mouths!

One of my friends had a Halloween party on Friday night which I attended. I went dressed as a vampire and my best friend went dressed as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. We had so much fun!

Hope you had a great Halloween, Ron!

  31. Hey ho Robert!

"I went dressed as a vampire and my best friend went dressed as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family."

Oh what GREAT costumes! And I bet you had a BLAST!

I worked Halloween day, but dressed up on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We had a different "makeup look" for each day.

Thanks so much for stopping by, buddy. Have a great rest of your week!
