I've been following Lady FI since 2014. I found her blog through another blogger and have been a loyal fan ever since. Not only is she an amazing photographer, I can also tell that she's a very special person. She has a wonderful energy about her that shines through her photographs, as well as the dialogue she shares between her photographs.

I love her clever play on words.

She is someone who I instantly felt comfortable with because of her warmth, humor, and love of nature and dogs.

Today I would like to share some of my own personal favorite images from Lady FI. Now mind you, it was a challenge for me to select just these because all of her photographs are my favorites.

But before I do, I would like to introduce you to Lady FI from her Who Am I page.

(*I'm the one without the fur!)

I'm a Brit living in Sweden since 1996. Came here as a so-called love immigrant.
Have got two small kids and good supply of ear plugs.
Husband is like a third child and the dog is like the fourth.
Blessed with an ironic sense of humour.
Scriptwriter, textbook writer and translator (Swedish into English).

It is with great pride and joy that I share these beautiful works of art by Lady FI...

I saved these final three photographs for last because they are of my favorite city in the US.

 New York...

Have a picture perfect weekend, everyone!
X

I invite you to visit Lady FI so that you can experience more of her amazing talent.

  2. The words 'if only' come to mind when I see beautiful photographs such as these. If only I could have taken such pictures, if only I had the patience, if only everything to do with photography. Nonetheless, I might be a dunce in these matters but I can still enjoy beauty. Thank you Lady Fi and thank you Ron for sharing her work with us.

  7. Ron, if these are any indication of Lady Fi's talent, I'm amazed you were able to choose among her photos to showcase here! She has quite an eye for detail. I imagine some of that can be taught, but the bulk, I suppose, is pure art, pure gift.

I love the one of the two dogs, all those lovely blues, and the sun shining on NYC. Thank you for introducing us to her here (I've seen her name, but now I have a link and an "excuse" to visit!) xx

  20. You're right, Matt, the one of the horse looks surreal! I think it's because of the mist and gorgeous sunlight.
