Have any of you ever watched certain TV shows and thought that the chemistry between the onscreen characters was extraordinary? And so extraordinary that it appeared they were born to be onscreen together? Watching them, you couldn't imagine any other actors/actresses playing those parts? And watching them was sheer perfection?

Well, I have.

As someone who used to be a stage actor myself, I'm especially in awe of watching exceptional chemistry between actors because I know how rare that can be. There were plays and musicals I've been in where the chemistry between myself and the other actors seemed natural and effortless. Yet, other plays and musicals where there was ZERO chemistry. And let me tell you, it's especially tough when that happens if your character is supposed to have an intimate relationship with one of the other characters and there is no chemistry. That's when you have to pull out your bag of acting tricks and use "technique." Which I hate to do because I'm very much an organic actor. I prefer to just let it happen and not analyze it too much.

Today I'm going to share six TV shows I used to watch religiously. Not only because I thought they were well written and directed, but also because of the great chemistry between the cast members.

Now, mind you, I hardly watch TV anymore. In fact, I don't even own a television. I'm more of a movie watcher. And if I do watch TV shows, I stream them through my 25" computer monitor. One of the cool things about the Internet is that you can search for TV shows and movies (old and new), and watch them at any time.

So, without further ado, here are six shows with extraordinary casts and chemistry...

I Love Lucy (1951-1957) - My favorite characters were Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball), and Ethel Mertz (Vivian Vance) -To me, Lucille Ball was a comedy goddess. And what was genius about her was that she played the comedy for real, which made it even more hilarious. Her show was the first of its kind. They filmed it in front of a live audience, as in the theater. She and Desi set the standard for how sitcoms work today. I watched I Love Lucy every single day when I got home from school. It was an addiction. That was the first time I realized just how important onscreen chemistry was and that I wanted to do comedy. Lucy, Ricky, Ethel, and Fred were like finely tuned instruments that created the most hilarious music. And what's truly amazing is that the comedy in this show is timeless.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977) - My favorite characters were Phyllis Lindstrom (Cloris Leachman), and Sue Ann Nivens (Betty White) - I have this show bookmarked on my streaming website because I watch it A LOT. And by that, I mean, like every single week. I have such wonderful memories of my mother and I watching this show when it aired on Saturday nights because she loved it as much as I. And talk about an extraordinary cast! Each one, in their own distinct way, added a drizzle of magic to the show. Each one, so talented, that they all went on and had shows of their own. Betty White was the last of the cast to pass away. I bet they are all up in heaven, putting on a good show and making everyone laugh.

The Golden Girls (1985-1992) - My favorite characters were Blanche Devereaux (Rue McClanahan), and Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty) - I still watch this show via stream and laugh my ass off even more so now than I did when it originally aired. Each of these ladies was so strong in their characters and had impeccable comedic timing. Their chemistry was like a perfect marriage. God, how I miss these four actresses. They were top-notch!

Sex and the City (1998-2004) - My favorite character was Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon). I know I'm in the minority with my opinion, because most people feel Miranda was the cold and uninteresting character in the series. Yet, to me, she was the most well-rounded and in depth of all the characters because Miranda had so many levels (and notes) to her personality. Yes, she could be cold and sterile at times. But she could also be sensitive, vulnerable, and sexy. I feel that her character went through more of a metamorphosis during the 6-year run of the show. You never knew what to expect from Miranda. And I liked that. It's not that I didn't enjoy the other three characters. I did. However, I thought they were written in a single note. *P.S. Oh, and I didn't care for the reboot in 2022. I watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode and then turned it off.

Six Feet Under (2001-2005) - My favorite characters were Nate Fisher (Peter Krause) and Ruth Fisher (Frances Conroy). This HBO series was truly one of the most brilliantly conceived and written shows I have ever seen on TV. It was so unique. And it still is. Even when I go back and watch certain episodes again, I am blown away by how phenomenal it was. It was a drama, but had so much humor woven through it. One minute you were moved to tears, the next you were laughing. And the plots were so compelling and diverse. You really cared about these people. I was truly bummed when this series ended. But what I admired about the writer/director is that after a strong 5-year run, he was smart enough to end the show at exactly the right time. At the peak of its success. Every show, no matter how good it is, has an expiration date. And he knew that.TV shows today need to comprehend that instead of always coming back with a reboot. Which, in my opinion, never works.

Will and Grace (1998-2006) - My favorite characters were Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes), and Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) - In fact, I loved them so much that I thought they should have their own show entitled, The Jack and Karen Show. Sean's and Megan's comedic timing was flawless. And as someone who was an actor myself, I can tell you that comedy is much, much harder than drama. But I have to say, I didn't care for the reboot. I wanted to love it. I truly did. However, I watched one season, but then lost interest. Will and Grace was one of those brilliant shows that had a thriving 8-year run. And it was perfect the way it was.

I'll leave you with a photograph that was taken at NBC Studios in New York, during a visual promotion for the reboot of Will and Grace. I went to Manhattan that day with the girls. Here I am, sipping a glass of champagne next to Jack in a bubble bath. And notice the look on his face. I accidentally grazed his bum with my right hand as I was reaching for the bar of soap. I was a little tipsy. Sorry, Jack. LOL!

Have an extrodinary week, y'all! 💗

-So, how about you? Any TV shows you currently love or loved, in which you feel the cast was extraordinary? Please share if you wish.

  1. What a fun look at these shows! I’ve never watched Six Feet Under or Sex and the City but I do agree with your assessment on the rest. Such great casts! My faves of the rest were Mary Tyler Moore Show and Will and Grace. Karen and Jack should have had their own show!!! They made me LMAO so many times. Loved them, but yeah, I got bored with the reboot. Ted Knight was my fave on MTM. He was a wonderful comedic actor and I also loved him in Too Close For Comfort.

The chemistry of the cast truly does make the difference between a good and great tv show. My top vote would be Everybody Loves Raymond. Each character was phenomenal in their own way that it would be hard for me to pick my favorite, though I especially like Patricia Heaton because she was a Clevelander. Another of my choices is obvious, but Seinfeld. It would be hard to choose from the four main characters because they each brought so much to the table. I’m currently bingeing Curb Your Enthusiasm. It’s not nearly as good as Seinfeld, but I am loving the characters of Larry’s wife (Cheryl Hines) and his manager (played by Jeff Garlin). They are both hilarious, seemingly without effort.

Ron, would you consider doing a post on your favorite episodes? I’ve thought about that as a post possibility before, just because some episodes really stand out. Thanks for a fun morning read! XO

  2. Oh Ron, I LOVE this post because you listed three my favorite televisions shows - The Golden Girls, Sex and the City, and Will and Grace! And I couldn't agree more about reboots. Sex and the City was just bad, it was painful to watch. I had a feeling it was going to bomb. And they had all that drama going on with Chris North. And then Willie Garson died. I felt so sad because his character was one of my faves. My favorite character was Samantha. I never thought about what you shared about Miranda, but you're right. Her character did have more of a metamorphosis in the six years it ran. I loved the first movie, but not the second. HORRENDOUS!

You have me so curious about Six Feet Under. I remember when it came on HBO. It was on around the tail end of Sex and the City, right? Gotta watch it because it sounds so interesting. Is that the same guy who was in Dexter? He looks so familiar.

Wonderful post, Ron! You always put so much into your posts and I really appreciate that. I'm going to share this post when my bestie. I think she will love it as much as I did. She was a huge SAC fan too! xo

  3. " Karen and Jack should have had their own show!!! They made me LMAO so many times. Loved them, but yeah, I got bored with the reboot."

I feel exactly like you about Karen and Jack - LMAO! And the reboot (for me) just fell flat. Also, it was too political. I don't watch comedies for politics, I watch them to escape politics. LOL!

Ted Knight was my mother's fave on MTM too! OMG, she used to laugh and laugh at him.

"My top vote would be Everybody Loves Raymond."
YES!!!! You know, I never watched it during its run. But I started watching it a few years ago via stream, and I freaking LOVED it! The cast was extraordinary. My favorites were the Marie and Robert (I also thought he was so damn cute, so I kinda' had a crush on him LOL!). But I loved Debra (Patricia Heaton) as well. I loved her snarky sense of humor. I had no idea she was from Cleveland. VERY cool!

And OMG...Curb Your Enthusiasm. YES! My favorites (like you) were Jeff and Susie. HILARIOUS!

I never watched Seinfeld though. I don't know what. I also never watched Friends. And those were two very popular TV shows.

And yes, I would consider that! You're right, some episodes do stand out. Thanks for the great idea!

And thanks for stopping by and sharing, my friend. Always enjoy reading your comments!

  4. Hola Denise!

Yup, I know so many people who said that Samantha was their favorite character. I loved her too. She would be my second favorite.

"I couldn't agree more about reboots. Sex and the City was just bad, it was painful to watch. I had a feeling it was going to bomb. And they had all that drama going on with Chris North. And then Willie Garson died. I felt so sad because his character was one of my faves."

I too had that same feeling. I remember the night I watched it and thought, "OMG...this is just SO BAD." And it's exactly how I felt about the second SAC movie - SO BAD!

I didn't start watching Six Feet Under until it's second season and instantly fell in love. I actually streamed all FIVE seasons during the lockdown/pandemic and rewatched it. And yes, that's Michael C. Hall (Dexter).

For some reason, I never watched Friends or Seinfeld, although I knew so many people who did and loved them. I think I was doing a lot of theater during those years and didn't have the time to watch TV at night. But I have seen clips from both shows and laughed.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Denise! Have a fantabulous week! X

Love Jim Parsons too! I just recently watched his latest movie, Spoiler Alert. SO good!

  5. "And notice the look on his face. I accidentally grazed his bum with my right hand as I was reaching for the bar of soap. I was a little tipsy. Sorry, Jack." - ROFLMAO!

As much as I loved (and still watch) Will and Grace, I wasn't thrilled with the reboot. I like what you said about every show having an expiration date because it's so true. These shows don't know when to call it quits and move on.

Okay, I never watched Six Feet Under when it aired, but a close friend of mine turned me on to the show and lent me his DVD collection (complete series). Holy shit, what an amazing show and concept. I was completely hooked after the first episode. What's incredible about that show is that's it's combo of dark, light, and everything in between. I loved how the father (although dead) would come back and revisit the family. So cool!

Grey's Anatomy (Dr. Cristina), The Golden Girls ( Blanche), Designing Women (Julia) , and The Sopranos (Tony) are on my favorite list.

Fun post, Ron! And thanks for also sharing the opening theme songs.

  6. Helloooooooo there, Daniel!

"These shows don't know when to call it quits and move on."

You got that right! As I watched the first episode of SAC reboot, all I felt was sad that they were trying so hard to recapture what the show was back when it first aired. SAC was brilliant. But for heaven sake, LEAVE it there. Stop trying to bring it back. Kim Cattrall was the only smart one. She refused to come back.

"Holy shit, what an amazing show and concept. I was completely hooked after the first episode. What's incredible about that show is that's it's combo of dark, light, and everything in between. I loved how the father (although dead) would come back and revisit the family. So cool!"

Yes, that was me when I first watched it too. The first episode (pilot episode) is so brilliant that I could be a movie all unto itself. But it makes you craving more. Incredible show!

"Grey's Anatomy (Dr. Cristina), The Golden Girls ( Blanche), Designing Women (Julia) , and The Sopranos (Tony) are on my favorite list."

Thanks so much for sharing your faves. I loved Designing Women too! Delta Burke was born in Orlando, Florida. And her childhood home was only a few blocks from where my apartment was in downtown Orlando.

Have a faaaaaaabulous day, Daniel. And thanks for stopping by!

  7. Can you even believe that I've never watched Sex and the City!?? Well, I'm sure I caught a few minutes here and there of an episode or two, maybe even saw a tiny bit of the movie because I do recognize them at least.

I Love Lucy, so funny! It's been awhile since I've watched one, but do notice reruns are still on occasionally. Totally loved the episode with Harpo Marx! I read that Vivian Vance and William Frawley did not get along at all off screen. Whatever the case, it all worked pretty well. A very old movie of Lucille Ball's was on a week or two ago. I didn't watch it all, Ron's really the one who prefers the OLD movies, but wow she really was beautiful and a talented actress!
We didn't watch Six Feet Under until yearssss after it ran. We both liked it a lot!
    MTM show, excellent!
The Golden Girls, such a hoot! Blanche might have been my fav on that show, but loved Bea Arthur in Maude.
Of your list, Will & Grace I absolutely loved!! Still watch!! I liked a little bit about each of them, but overall YES, Jack and Karen. Well, she has to be first... so, the Karen and Jack Show. lol Anastasia Beaverhausen.... Anastasia like Russian royalty, Beaverhausen like where the beaver live. bwahahaha I'll be here all day if I start with Karen Walker lines. ha!
We did watch Friends, and Seinfeld way back. Currently, we are re-watching 'Doc Martin'. It's a British show with Martin Clunes who plays the title character. Dr. Ellingham was a very successful surgeon, but developed a blood phobia so he left London and became the GP of a small village named Portwenn (fictional). It ran for 10 seasons, filmed in Port Isaac, Cornwall, UK. We love it.
This was a fun post, Ron! Great t.v. show choices!!

  8. Literally....I❤️Lucy!!
My favorite episode(actually, now that I think of it, it was a movie?!!) was when they were on vacation and towing a trailer...Lucy collecting rocks!!!
    Really enjoyed the golden girls!!!!!
Oh ya, another one of Lucy's was wrapping chocolates from a conveyor belt!!

AND one more...the vitamin commercial. (I could not stomach Ricky Ricardo tho).

Speaking of movies ...one comedy that stands out is, it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ron, two things --- 1) that photo of you and Jack is PRICELESS! and 2) I didn't know about your stage acting experience. I'm fascinated! I did theater too. Not professionally, just for fun. But I loved it. There is nothing like live theater, right?

I don't think reboots work either. It's like they try to rekindle what was. SAC reboot was so sad. And when it was on HBO, I loved it. Not a fan of the two movies though. The show was more than enough.

From the past I liked I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke, MTM and The Golden Girls. And of course....WILL AND GRACE! I also enjoyed The Office and Mad Men. Have you ever seen Mrs. Brown's Boy's? HYSTERICAL. I watch it on Prime.

I don't watch much television myself. I do enjoy movies. Romantic comedies and thrillers.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yes, Anni, you're right, it was movie entitled, "The Long, Long, Trailer." LOVED it! I actually have it on DVD. I love the part when Lucy is making dinner while Ricky it driving the trailer and the food is flying all over the place. LOL!

And OMG....YES...the chocolate factory episode is a CLASSIC! Ethel and Lucy are beyond funny.

    "AND one more...the vitamin commercial."

Vitameatavegamin! She was BRILLIANT in that one! Funny you mentioned that because my father could not stomach Ricky Ricardo either. And he thought he was the WORST singer.

Never saw It's a Mad, Mad, World, but heard of it. I'll look for it.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Anni! Have a grrrreat rest of your week!

  11. Hey there, Clair!

I took that photo years ago when I was in NYC with the girls. We had so much fun that day. If you click on the link, you'll see photos of different places we went to.

And yes, I did theater for almost 30 years. I started in NYC, but traveled to different places in the US, Europe, and Asia. And you're right, there nothing like live theater. I adore movies, and watch a lot. However, as an actor, I much prefer the process of acting onstage rather than film.

Loved reading your list! And of COURSE!!!!....I have most definitely seen episodes of Mrs. Brown's Boy's. It's beyond hysterical! I love Irish/English humor. In fact, most of my beloved actors/actresses are from the UK.

Funny you mentioned romantic comedies and THRILLERS because I enjoy them too. When Harry Met Sally? French Kiss?....Silence of the Lambs? Panic Room? LOVE them all!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing in this post, my friend! Have a stupendous rest of you week!

  12. Sex and the City was one of those shows that you either loved and watched, or you didn't. It didn't appeal to everyone. I loved the series and the first movie. However, the second movie and the reboot were so sad. They should have left the show "as is" and not bothered with all the other stuff because it was perfect the way it ended.

I still watch I Love Lucy too! I stream it. And yes, I clearly remember the Harpo Marx episode that was during their time in Hollywood when Ricky was making a movie.

You're right, they did NOT get along at all. In fact, they hated each other offscreen. But it worked for their ONSCREEN relationship beautifully. They were so funny together.

"We didn't watch Six Feet Under until yearssss after it ran. We both liked it a lot!"

If I was forced to choose one TV drama show I thought was the best, I'd choose Six Feet Under. Many people found the show strange and dark. However, I found it brilliant. But then again, I like strange and dark stuff. LOL! Even today, whenever I watch it, that show still has the same deep effect on me.

Loved Bea Arthur in Maude as well! I found a website where I can stream that show.

"Anastasia Beaverhausen.... Anastasia like Russian royalty, Beaverhausen like where the beaver live. bwahahaha I'll be here all day if I start with Karen Walker lines. ha!"

Bwhahahahahahaha! Weren't her lines the BEST?!?! I loved the relationship she had with her maid, Rosario. It was truly one of the BEST sitcoms on TV!

Thanks soooooooooo much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, feeling, and faves, my friend! Enjoyed!

Have a fantastic rest of your week!

  13. Ron, I find it interesting that I watched the first three on your list but not that final three. I think you can attribute that to the fact that I was working and trying to raise Domer (and probably then watching my fair share of Sesame Street, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, ha!!)

You obviously have a penchant for comedies. There are some dramas (like "Dallas") that I never missed. The characters, each in their own way, were intriguing, and the story lines were captivating. Not to mention the wardrobes, sets, and all that BIG HAIR!!

Enjoy the rest of your week, my friend! xx

  14. I was a fan of all of these shows except Six Feet Under, which I had never seen an episode of! I watched the intro you shared and am now adding it to my list because I have HBOMax and am currently annoyed with Netflix. I can't wait to start watching!

Because I was born in 1970, I grew up watching shows like MTM and The Bob Newhart Show. My mother was a huge fan of all of those shows, and she would watch them at night while ironing in her bedroom. I could never sleep as a child, so I would lie in her bed while she ironed and watched her nighttime shows. So shows like those are very comforting to me.

I also clicked on your NYC post, which was a lot of fun to read and your photos were fantastic! I know I say this a lot, but I'm so glad I discovered your blog via Bijoux. Have a fantastic week, my friend! 😘❤️

  15. Hellooooooooo there, Debbie!

Like I said, I don't watch a lot of television myself. Therefore, I'm not familiar with a lot TV shows myself. And if I do watch them, it's usually way after they've on the air. I stopped watching TV right around the time Six Feet Under and Sex and the City ended (2005).

And OMG, I LOVED Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood! I watched the documentary about his life years and ago and thought it was amazing. It made me cry because he was such a sweet man with such a gentle heart.

Oh yes....I too watched Dallas (as well as, Falcon Crest and Dynasty). But my personal favorite was Knots Landing, which was a spill-off from Dallas. It was on TV for FOURTEEN years! Can you believe that?

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a fantastic rest of your week!

It's been unusually warm here. Today is reached 67 degrees. I saw people outside wearing shorts and sandals. Dear god, I just want ONE BIG snowfall before winter is gone. Hopefully in March.

  16. Hellooooooooooo there, Kari!

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that you will really like Six Feet Under. it's very different. Like nothing I've ever seen before. You'll know whether or not you like it, just from watching the pilot. The second I saw it, I was hooked. Like I said, there is a wonderful blend of drama and humor.

"Because I was born in 1970, I grew up watching shows like MTM and The Bob Newhart Show. OMG, you and I have so much in common because it was the same for me when I was younger. I too (I kid you not) got such comfort from watching TV with my mother while she ironed! We used to have a den in our home, which is where our family TV was and where my mother would also iron. I would sleep on the couch, while she ironed. And sometimes she would even let me iron because I loved ironing!!! I was a strange little boy. LOL!

Same here! Sooooooooooooooooo glad I discovered your blog via Bijoux!!!

Have a fantastic rest of your week, my friend!

  17. I think because I was in the medical field, I always migrated to shows like ER (excellent cast), Grey's Anatomy, and (don't laugh) Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (loved Jane Seymour). I also watched sitcoms like Frasier and Seinfeld (classics!)

Wasn't The Golden Girls the bomb? I still watch that show online. LOVED all the characters, but especially Sophia and Dorothy. I've heard of Six Feet Under, but never watched it. I may have to look for it on HBO because I have that. I clicked over on the link and saw the casts - WOW! I looks like something I would enjoy. I like dark humor.

I too watched I Love Lucy as a kid. She was such a talented comedian.

Will and Grace was also the bomb! Karen and Jack stole the show. And I loved the Spanish maid (I forget her name). She and Karen would have yelling matches and insult the hell out of each other, but then all was forgiven.

That phot of you and Jack at NBC is priceless! I love the expression on BOTH your faces. Thanks one of the things I do sometimes miss about NY, all the cool things you can see in the city.

Fun post, Ron! We stream everything through our computer monitor too. Who needs a television set anymore?

Have a great rest of your week, sir! Can you believe how warm it was today?

  18. Ron, I saw something online about his new film. Thanks for reminding me. I will look for it. xo

  20. It's a wonderful film! It's based off a true story. Have a box of Kleenex handy though, the ending is a tear-jerker. But it's worth it because it's so beautiful!

  21. Hey there, Elaine!

Can' you believe I have never seen any of the medical TV shows you listed? I've definitely heard of them, but never watched them. I love Sandra Oh, so I need to at least check out Grey's Anatomy. And who doesn't love Jane Seymour? Talented and beautiful!

Yes, do check out Six Feet Under. I think it's a series you might enjoy. It's such a unique show that deals with death in a very open and honest manner. It also had a lot of humor within it. It's a little bit of everything. I personally love how the show deals with so many different issues pertaining to death.

LOVED Rosario, the maid!!!! She and Karen were so damn funny together. Do you remember when Jack married Rosario? LOL!

Yes, who really needs a TV anymore? The one I had years ago was getting so old, so I left it in our trash room in my apartment building in case someone wanted to take it and use it.

OMG, the heat today was ridiculous! February and I saw people with shorts and sandals. This winter has been such a bust for someone like you and I who loves winter. But I'm not giving up. It may snow next month!

Have a grrrrreat rest of your week, my friend. And thanks for stopping by!

  22. Hi, just found your blog. Really enjoyed reading this post! I too did theater and you're spot on in saying that comedy is much harder than drama. Not everyone who can do drama, can do comedy. But those who do comedy are usually excellent at drama.

I loved your TV picks. Wasn't The Golden Girls cast GOLDEN? You're right, I Love Lucy set the standard for future sitcoms. I didn't watch Six Feet Under until years after it ended because I didn't have HBO at that time. Incredible cast, incredible show. And they dared to touch on topics no other TV show did at that time.

I really enjoy a lot of the British series - Downton Abbey, The Crown, and Absolutely Fabulous. I love the brits sense of humor. They also produce some of the most talented actors and actresses.

Glad I found your blog. I'll be back!

  23. Greetings, Glenn. Welcome!

"Not everyone who can do drama, can do comedy. But those who do comedy are usually excellent at drama."

EXACTLY! I started off doing comedy, so I thought that was all I could do. I was very nervous to do my first dramatic role, but I ended up having a really enjoyable time. Also, even when you do dramatic roles, there is always room for some comedy as well.

"And they dared to touch on topics no other TV show did at that time."

Yup! I was so impressed by all the taboo topics they touched on. Also, they made death more comfortable to talk about. GENUIS show! And the cast was so prefect. You actually believed they were a family.

I love your choices in extraordinary TV shows!

"I love the brits sense of humor. They also produce some of the most talented actors and actresses."

Meeeeeeeeee too! Their sense of humor is stellar. I agree, a HUGE portion of my favorite actors are from the UK. I could list a thousand!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your comment. So nice to meet you!

  24. Ron, I wanted to stop back and let you know that hubby and I watched the pilot episode of Six Feet Under last night and were instantly drawn in for the whole hour, which seemed to fly by. Oh my god, the pilot alone made me cry. We plan on watching each season over the next few months. Thanks for your excellent recommendation, Ron!

  25. Aw...Elaine, thank you so much for stopping back to let me know you watched it and that you enjoyed! Isn't the pilot fantabulous? I too cried, which made me want to watch more and more episodes. That show was a masterpiece of work - the writing, the cast, the direction, and the plots. I also loved the cinematography. A masterpiece!
