My inspiration for this post came from my dear, longtime blogging friend, Debbie @ Musings by an ND Domer's Mom, who is not only a gifted...

Earlier this week, I suddenly got the idea of hosting another photo submission post because the last one was so much fun!
Only this time I decided to give it a theme.
And the theme is: All Creatures Great And Small.
Since there are many of us here who LOVE animals, I thought it would be kinda cool to give them a post all their own; celebrating the animal kingdom.
Your photo can be of your own pet, or any photo you’ve taken of an animal. It can be of a dog, cat, insect, goldfish, bird, horse, or any creature.
And remember, this is not a photo contest. I’m simply doing this to share and open the floor to you, your camera, and your love of animals.
So, are you ready to submit?
Okay, here’s how it will go…..
*Please read these photo guidelines carefully:
-Send only ONE photo. If you have several pets and would like them all featured, just be sure they are included in a SINGLE photo or collage.
-I like to use BIG photos on this blog, so your submissions can be up to 600px wide (but no bigger). I ask that if you need to reduce the width of your photo, you do it before sending it to me. If you need a place to resize your original photo, I recommend going to Lunapic.com, where you can upload your image and resize it fast, easy and free, by using the 600x600 drop down setting.
-Please feel free to use your own watermark if you wish.
-Pretty please do not send two or three photos and then ask me to choose. I ask that you choose.
-If you’re sharing a photo of your own pet(s), please include their name(s). If you’re sending a photo of an animal in general, please include a photo title.
-Include your blog name and URL in your email, so that I can link the photo back to you.
-You will find my email address on the contact page below my blog header.
-Deadline for photo submissions will be: Wednesday, March 28th at midnight.
-Depending on how many photos are sent, I will most likely post your images on two separate posts, like the last time. Photos will be posted in the order in which they are received.
-Again, I ask that you read these guidelines carefully. Thank you….x
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me in your comments.
So go ahead folks, don’t be shy. Send a photo of your pet or an animal; sharing it with others.
Have fun and enjoy!
Oh…and here’s my own silly photo submission.
It’s entitled: “Doggie Movement Concerto in B Flat”

Wishing you a smooth move weekend everyone!
X
