Post updates by email:

Over two years ago, I shared a post about visionary, Tom Ford.

And if you remember, the reason I shared that post was because one of my readers had asked me in an earlier comment, what my ‘physical type’ was in a man. And although I don’t have ONE type - because to me, attractiveness encompasses the whole package – if I had to choose a type based initially on ‘looks’ only, it would be someone like Tom Ford.

And truly, can you blame me?

*hubba-hubba*

Not only do I find this brown eyed, stubbled face man attractive on a physical level, but I also find him attractive in his ability to move from one creative endeavor to another, and that everything he creates is done with such passion and detail. I love the fact that Tom Ford is not afraid to try new things; stretching himself by taking chances. And it’s amazing, because everything he touches turns to gold.

Tom Ford is not only an interior architect and clothing designer, but also a fragrance designer, filmmaker, and now has his own line of cosmetics.

I just recently watched a fascinating online documentary on Tom Ford, which revealed so much about the man behind the brand. Honestly, if you have some time this weekend, please watch it because you will be glued to his every word. It’s a candid documentary about the inner and outer journey this man has taken so far in his life. He has a strong yet, gentle soul that will truly inspire you.

Tom Ford is notorious for his perfectionism.

I found this quote online….

“You know, the world might be a very scary place if it were only run by Virgos. Perfectionists — I don’t know if there are any psychologists in the room — are more prone to depression because perfection is not achievable. Imperfection is perfection but that goes so against the grain. Fashion has a lot of Virgos — Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Carine Roitfeld — there are a lot of us. To really obsess about a millimeter on a shoe, it helps to be a Virgo.”

I too am a perfectionist. And that’s probably because my astrological rising sign is Virgo.

But I also think it’s because I’m creative.

Perfectionism is a double-edged sword, because it can be the motivating force that propels you forward to achieve the very best. But it can also wear you down, because as Tom Ford said, imperfection IS perfection, therefore you’ve got to sense when to stop or it will drive you crazy.

After I saw this documentary, I started thinking about all the inventors, artists, and visionaries who have contributed great things to this world; all of whom are/were perfectionists.

If you think about it, most creative-type people are driven to perfection.

And I have my own personal ‘take’ on why that is.

Creativity is something that does not really come from us. Creativity is something that comes through us.

You see, I believe in a Higher Power. Call it God, the Universe, or whatever you choose to believe. Therefore I believe that creativity is not really ours, but rather belongs to the Higher Power that uses us to create on its own behalf. And I think where our obsession for perfection comes in is that we follow our inner promptings to create on behalf; yet at the same time struggle with our human eyes as to what WE think perfection is.

Being an artist/creative person is not easy, because as an artist, we constantly wrestle with the balance of knowing when perfection is achieved. We are often nonconforming and determined. But that’s because we are all in our own way, visionaries.

And I’m so glad that there are people like Tom Ford in this world, because he shows us that striving for perfection is not a negative thing. And that if we don’t at least strive for it….

…we’ll never achieve perfect imperfection.

Wishing you a perfect weekend everyone!

    Hi Jeanne!

Isn't Tom Ford the BOMB??? Yes! What a creative spirit indeed!

And what amazes me about him is that everything he comes out with is of the highest quality. I love his fragrances because they're very 'earthy' and 'deep.'

"And now for the BIG news....drumroll please...I, too, am a VIRGO!!! See...yet another thing we have in common my sweet friend!!'

    OMG.....another VIRGO!!! How ironic!

My sun sign is Libra, but my rising sign is Virgo. And both Libras AND Virgos are such perfectionists, so I've got a double whammy!

    HA!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend! Have a faaaaaabulous weekend!

X to you and the girlz!

  4. A perfectly fabulous post, Ron! Tom Ford sounds like a fascinating guy. And he's almost as good-looking as I am! I love your observation about creativity being something that comes through us. It's a gift that we're passing along. Perfectionism certainly is a double-edged sword and it can paralyze you if you're not careful, but it also produces such great works of art. When handled properly, perfectionism is the best kind of crazy! Have a crazily perfect weekend, buddy!

YES!! I'm with you there, Ron. And I, too, am creative, but all my life I've believed my art, my creations, even when I'm sewing and following a pattern, are not good enough. I'm trying to sell some of them now, both for profit, and for charity, but it's slow going. Do I say to myself, well, there's a recession on and I have an awful lot of competition"? No, I say "I knew my stuff wouldn't be good enough, I don't know why I try. Perhaps I should give up".

And this, even though I have seen with my own eyes the crap which is sold in shops at about the same price as my own handmade pieces.

    *Sigh*

  6. Interesting man, Ron, as well as being good looking. I'd never heard of him before...although I have come across Gucci a time or two. It was nice watching a fashion designer at work. Hmm Virgo, that's not the right star sign for a Gemini, although I am on the cusp! Next week is my birthday. Do you think Tom Ford could design something for me.... Oooh, I wish! I always think I'm artistic, is that why I spend time on each outfit, getting the colours right, and the style to suit me. People put me down as fussy, heehee do you think that's a plus or a minus?

    Have a fantastic Friday.

  7. Hey there Bijoux~

"Would you believe I've never heard of Tom Ford??"

I'm sure many people have not heard of Tom Ford either, so no, you're not living in the dark ages. He's primarily a clothing designer, but has dabbled in so many other venues that it's hard to place him in ONE category.

He's someone I truly admire because he's willing to take chances and try different things. He's an inspiration of mine!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend! Have a wonderful weekend!

"I love your observation about creativity being something that comes through us. It's a gift that we're passing along."

You're so right...it's a gift we're passing along. I love how you said that!

"When handled properly, perfectionism is the best kind of crazy!"

You said it! As I shared, I think MANY creative people are like this when it comes to perfection. It's the driving force that propels us forward yet, we often agonize over our vision of when something is complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing on this buddy!

    Have a crazily perfect weekend!

  9. Good morning Jay~

"That is one very handsome man! Oh, yeah. ;)"

    Yes, isn't he? VA-VOOM!!!!!!

I have a tendency to be attracted to dark hair or salt and pepper hair, and dark eyes on a man. Could be my Italian upbringing, but I LOVE it!

And as I shared, it's not only the way he looks, but it's also his talent and gift for trying new things and being successful - he's willing to take chances and I admire him for that.

"And I, too, am creative, but all my life I've believed my art, my creations, even when I'm sewing and following a pattern, are not good enough."

I think MANY of us creative-type people are that way because it's hard to see our talents objectively. Plus, we put so much heart and soul into our work, that we feel protective over it. I use to be that way with my acting yet, I finally realized I just needed to DO IT and allow others to take it for how they wanted to take it. Some people liked it, others didn't. But I know that I gave it my best.

"Do I say to myself, well, there's a recession on and I have an awful lot of competition"? No, I say "I knew my stuff wouldn't be good enough, I don't know why I try. Perhaps I should give up".

Noooooo....don't give up, my friend, because I know many people who have Etsy Shops and have shared the same thing. I think that there are just so many Etsy Shops out there, that it's challenging for them to get viewed. But I've SEEN your shop and your creations are faaaaabulous!

Thanks so much for stopping by, Jay! Always enjoy your comments!

  10. Gooooood morning Valerie~

    Isn't he a good-looking man?

    *hubba-hubba*

" I'd never heard of him before...although I have come across Gucci a time or two."

Tom Ford use to be a designer for Gucci. In fact, he turned Gucci around and made it very successful just before they were thinking of folding. I love Tom Fords' sense of fashion because it's very clean and simple. He also uses a lot of black and white in this fashion, which I LOVE. His clothes have a very tailored look to them. He designs his fashion as he would if he were designing a building.

"Hmm Virgo, that's not the right star sign for a Gemini, although I am on the cusp!"

Like you, I'm an air sign (Libra) and air signs can be equally as perfectionists.

Next week is your birthday???? How COOL!!!!

" Do you think Tom Ford could design something for me.... Oooh, I wish!"

HA! Yes, I have his private cell phone number, so I'll call him and ask if he can whip something up for you by next week!

"I always think I'm artistic, is that why I spend time on each outfit, getting the colours right, and the style to suit me. People put me down as fussy, heehee do you think that's a plus or a minus?"

By all means, dear lady, you ARE an artist! And people put me down as 'fussy' too, but I would rather be fussy than not fussy because it gives me something to strive for.

Always FAB see ya, Valerie! Have a stunning Friday and weekend!

  13. I have to admit that I have no idea who Tom Ford is, but I do agree that creative people are usually perfectionists.

I am not a Virgo. I am an Antiquarian, yet I still have the need to perfect everything I do. Mo is always saying "That's good enough" but no way is it good enough for me. I always say "We should all aim for perfection. We may not reach it, but at least we will have given it our very best effort".

"That's good enough", just isn't good enough for me.

  14. I agree with your comments on perfectionism. It's something I struggle with when writing. Every sentence, every word, every punctuation mark has to be exactly right or I'm not satisfied. Which is why I spent $100 after publishing my novel initially to go back and republish it after correcting several grammatical and factual errors. Double-edged EXPENSIVE sword is more like it!

  15. **THUD**

That was ME hitting the floor after looking at Tom Ford. It’s okay, I’m alright, my butt hit the carpet first, no harm done.

    But you’re absolutely RIGHT! Hubba-hubba!

But gee thanks, Ron, I’m trying to get RID of my hot flashes!

    I digress as I fan myself off…

I agree that we tend to gyrate…I mean gravitate; we GRAVITATE (see what you did. lol) toward a certain “type”. Mine is the rugged type. Give me a guy in a t-shirt, jeans and boots, some stubble and I’m “thudding” and hopefully he’ll catch me before I hit the floor! I also like men who are TALLER than me. I’m almost 5’ 9” and I wear 3 inch heels, so I like ‘em REALLY tall. Like 6’ 4”. Hee hee. My hubby isn’t even six foot anymore with his degenerative disks! But he IS rugged as all get out and makes me “thud” when he puts on his cowboy boots and hat! (Fanning myself again).

Another thing that is SO attractive is confidence. A man or woman who exude confidence is very sexy.

Okay I need to stop this because I’ll never get any work done!

I’m a Leo and quite the perfectionist and also prone to depression! I wonder, are creative people both? Is it a double edged sword? We’re creative but when we’re aren’t “perfect” we get depressed? Then we get depressed if we aren’t creative?

Either way, I’ll take them. I’d rather be creative than not and deal with the depression that goes along with it. Because without creativity I’m not sure I could’ve handled the cruelties of reality. And now I need the creativity to express what’s in the recesses of my soul.

I really enjoyed this post, Ron, not just because of the eye candy, either. I learned something. Thanks for the education!

    Have a fantabulous weekend!

  16. Hiya Babs~

I think because I'm in the beauty industry that I'm probably more aware of Tom Ford than perhaps others. But it wasn't until about four years ago, did I actually have any idea of who he was. He started off as a clothing designer, but has dabbled in so many other things that he's becoming more and more noticed. You would love his film, "Single Man." Not only is it a wonderful story, but it's filmed like a work of art.

"I am an Antiquarian, yet I still have the need to perfect everything I do. Mo is always saying "That's good enough" but no way is it good enough for me. I always say "We should all aim for perfection. We may not reach it, but at least we will have given it our very best effort"."

AMEN...and I TOTALLY hear ya, my friend. You're also a very creative person, so I think that has a lot to do with it because MOST creative people I know are the same way.

I don't think I'll ever stop striving for perfection, but I am getting a 'tad' bit better at seeing that imperfection can often be perfect, as long as I know I tried my best.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing on this post, Babs!

    Have a great weekend!

  17. Howdy Mark~

I was so thinking of YOU when I was writing this post because I know in the past that you and I have shared our similarity in perfection. And yes, I struggle with it too. But I would rather strive for it than not. Yet, the challenge is in knowing when to let it go - Oy Vey!

"Every sentence, every word, every punctuation mark has to be exactly right or I'm not satisfied. Which is why I spent $100 after publishing my novel initially to go back and republish it after correcting several grammatical and factual errors. Double-edged EXPENSIVE sword is more like it!"

  18. Helloooooooooo Pam~

    "**THUD**

That was ME hitting the floor after looking at Tom Ford. It’s okay, I’m alright, my butt hit the carpet first, no harm done."

Bwhahahahahahahhaha! OMG...that CRACKED ME THE HELL UP!!!

Isn't Tom a MUFFIN??? And if you watch the documentary I suggested, you will find him even MORE attractive because of his spirit. It's STRONG, yet very gentle at the same time. And I love his voice.

"I agree that we tend to gyrate…I mean gravitate; we GRAVITATE (see what you did. lol) toward a certain “type”."

HAHAHAHAHHAHA! But you're right...I think most people gyrate to a certain type. Yet, I've been attracted to many men who are not this particular type because it was something in their 'whole persona' that made them attractive to me.

"Another thing that is SO attractive is confidence. A man or woman who exude confidence is very sexy."

A-MEN! Confidence is such an aphrodisiac! It's SEXY! Also, I'm attracted to talent. Both in men and women.

"I’m a Leo and quite the perfectionist and also prone to depression! I wonder, are creative people both? Is it a double edged sword? We’re creative but when we’re aren’t “perfect” we get depressed? Then we get depressed if we aren’t creative?"

Yes, I think you're absolutely spot on. Creative people are more prone to depression. I myself, don't get depressed, but I do get into an occasional sluggish funk when I'm not expressing my creativity. It's like an energy I'm not expressing.

It's funny, because I'm a Libra with a Virgo rising, and have THREE planets in Leo, so can be quite the perfectionist.

"Either way, I’ll take them. I’d rather be creative than not and deal with the depression that goes along with it."

Ditto! Either way, I'll take them!

Thanks oodles for stopping by, Pam! Wishing you a fantabulous weekend too!

I too can be a perfectionist and it drives me up the wall at times. It's as Tom said, we have to remember that imperfection is perfection.

I had never seen him interviewed or heard him speak before watching this documentary, and he seems a lot more 'grounded' than I thought he would be. He seems to have a nice balance of understanding the REALLY important things about life. Very inspiring.

"we have to remember that imperfection is perfection.

Now I just have to try and remember that - heehee."

  21. I can see why you find him so attractive, and in so many ways too. I didn't know all that much about him before so the documentary was quite interesting. (I stopped here in the middle of the night and watched since I was up with insomnia.)
Having Gucci and YSL on the resume... nice! I noticed Anna Wintour at the end saying she liked the show. And having Lauren, Julianne, Rita, etc. as friends and walking the runway in his designs... how wonderful a life, huh?
Hey, I thought it was neat that he takes 3-5 baths a day. I've never heard anyone say something like that before. I love my baths, but OMG, 5! Well, if he's constantly working, even though he says it doesn't feel like work because alot of it is so enjoyable, there still has to be a way to just RELAX at different times throughout the day/night.
I can understand the perfectionist quality, as with my jewelry and cards I do strive to make each item attractive and have it be something I'm satisfied with and would like for myself, but I definitely don't have the added drive to go with it. I tend to get discouraged when things are slow and then question if it's the quality or the price or whatever and tend to take things more personally and that sets me back. I think to be as successful as people like he are, it takes perfectionism added to creativity and drive and maybe even some luck and a couple good connections thrown in too. He seems to have the right combinations of things. Insert a bit of envy *here*. LOL

Enjoy the weekend, Ron! We've had some glorious weather days lately, although I know the wretched heat is coming soon.

  22. Hi Ronnie,

Hey there! Thanks for introducing us to your... new boyfriend.. LOL!! In your dreams :) You know, I don't know him at all. Know it; I am out of it with Hollywood. I am the worst for Hollyood trivia & facts!
I was just fine until your boyfriend said the "V word"- Virgo:

“You know, the world might be a very scary place if it were only run by Virgos. "

Stand up, fellow Virgos and rising Virgos like Ronnie! I never say the word "perfectionist", I just say that I want to get the job done right. Very much like the Virgo, I sweat and toil. Sometimes going through, sometimes stopping.

OK; it doesn't always work out like that but, I try. Creativity is either "feast or famine"; on a hot roll or sitting in the dark. We just have to try and accept these ups and downs from the higher power.

Big hugs to you, sweetie and happy weekend.

I'm DEFINITELY OCD too, so perhaps that's why I consider myself a perfectionist.

"i never also attributed my creativity to a higher power either though i do know all good gifts come from Him. my creativity is who i believe i am. i don't try to be creative, it's almost as natural as breathing, i just do it and can't explain why either. very interesting."

BEAUTIFULLY stated, girl! And I agree, it's almost as natural as breathing, I just do it and can't explain why either. So that's WHY I think creativity comes from HIM, and not me. But where my perfection comes in is when I THINK too much instead of allowing it to just happen.

You're right...it just getting the job done RIGHT. Truly, Virgos are some of the hardest working people I know. I had a boss who was a Virgo and she was an AMAZING business woman. But, man, whatever she did, it HAD to be perfect!

"And having Lauren, Julianne, Rita, etc. as friends and walking the runway in his designs... how wonderful a life, huh?"

"Hey, I thought it was neat that he takes 3-5 baths a day. I've never heard anyone say something like that before. I love my baths, but OMG, 5!"

OMG...I just about DIED when he said that! FIVE baths a day?!?!? I'm surprised his skin hasn't turned into PRUNE! I take TWO a day, and in the summer, sometimes THREE. But FIVE?!?!

"I think to be as successful as people like he are, it takes perfectionism added to creativity and drive and maybe even some luck and a couple good connections thrown in too. He seems to have the right combinations of things. Insert a bit of envy *here*. LOL"

Yes, you're absolutely right! I think it takes all of those things too. And I thought it was very interesting how he said that, "We don't 'control' anything. We might think that we do, but we don't." And I believe that myself. So I think his accomplishments come from his hard work AND his destiny.

I think what I enjoyed most about the documentary was that it showed a somewhat "spiritual" side of him.

Thanks so much for stopping by, neighbor. I always enjoy our conversations! Have a delightful weekend!

I'm an Aquarius. Not sure how that plays into the whole creative/perfection thing. I'm definitely creative and definitely a perfectionist. It's a double edged sword. Sometimes feeling as though things need to be perfect keep me from getting things done. But, I've gotten better at trying to strike a balance on that one.

That's a very insightful thought, Jen. I never thought of that, but you might have something there. Perhaps perfectionism is like subconscious way to procrastinate getting things done until we feel like we've gotten it perfect!

  31. Yup--I watched Mr. Ford this morning and chuckled a few times. I just HAD to when they blurred out the wall photos in the London office. LOL And imagining what his mother would say about those 5 baths a day--I know what I'd say....but it'd be something about bubbles and duckies. And the brazen declaration of his education withOUT mention of the degree. LOL Charming little manipulation!! That won points with me out of the gate!

I liked his choices in models for the show, I liked his centeredness in who he is and what he's about cuz he knows. (I think it was revealed to him at an earlier time and he paid attention...eventually....) I like his willingness to scrap something because it doesn't work for him and he's not willing to settle. I liked his spiritual-ness cuz it shines.

    Oh......
And he ain't hard on the eyes either.....

    JUST sayin'.

    :-/

  32. Hiya Mel!

I am sooooooooo glad to hear you took the time to watch the documentary - bless you! Wasn't it fascinating to see how he lives and works?

"And imagining what his mother would say about those 5 baths a day--I know what I'd say....but it'd be something about bubbles and duckies."

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Me too! As I shared with Mary, I'm surprised his skin doesn't look like a PRUNE!?

"And the brazen declaration of his education withOUT mention of the degree. LOL Charming little manipulation!! That won points with me out of the gate!"

I TOTALLY agree! CHARMING little manipulation! It's like he didn't actually LIE about it, yet he DID! HAHAHAHAHA!

I also agree with every word of your last paragraph. Particularly this....

"I liked his spiritual-ness cuz it shines."

Yes, it does, doesn't it? That's what I felt about him too.

    "Oh......
And he ain't hard on the eyes either....."

    MEOOOOW!

Thanks oodles for dropping by, dearest lady. And thanks again for taking the time to watch the vid. Glad you enjoyed...X

  35. Really enjoyed this post, Ron. I watched the documentary and I have to say it was very, very good. I had no idea who Tom Ford was, but the video gave a clear view into what makes him tick. He's got a lot of drive, but also seems to have a nice balance of knowing what's really important to him. I think a lot of that must come from age and life experience.

I also enjoyed reading your 'take' on perfectionism. Very insightful.

  36. Howdy there Matt~

Yahoooooo! I am so happy to hear that you watched the documentary and enjoyed it. Wasn't it fantabulous? I knew of Tom Ford from about 5 years ago, but knew more about his contributions to fashion, beauty, and film making. However, after watching this documentary, I felt like I knew more about HIM.

And you're absolutely right, he DOES having a great deal of drive, but he also seems to have a nice balance of priorities. As he shared, his work IS him, but he's also discovered deeper parts of himself. True, I think a lot of that has to do with aging and the various life experiences he's had.

I don't know, I just find him so inspiring on many levels.

Thanks so much for stopping by, bud. Hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend!

  37. "Creativity is something that does not really come from us. Creativity is something that comes through us."

Truer words were never spoken. It's difficult to explain how a writer writes, a painter paints, or a mime mimes. I think what one produces is an amalgamation of one's life experiences, and how that meshes with they way one is genetically wired. The brain is a funny beast, taking in what it experiences and twisting it into something unique and entertaining.

Now, if only my brain was always on duty and working on stories for me. But alas, that's not always the case. Stupid brain... heh.

  40. Oh oh oh I think I am the ONLY one who has actually achieved perfect IMPERFECTION!!! Honest!!!! ;)

Hubba hubba... never heard of Tom Ford. I must live under a rock!

I studied flute beginning fourth grade. It was the only thing I could do well. I pretty much stunk at everything except playing. I was fortunate enough to study under some amazing people. I was offered scholarships... went to college for music. Why did I then leave the music program? I loved to play to PLAY. I hated people feeling they had to compete with me... the ugliness I encountered from others. I just loved to PLAY.

So what am I getting at? :) I am an artist - I can still hit that chromatic scale. But I was never a perfectionist. Never felt that need. I like to do a really good job. But I am able to take care of business and walk away.

I find your take really fascinating! A different spin... I love your writing, your thoughts, your feelings, your blog!

  41. Howdy Herman~

I freakin' LOVE the way you expressed your insight here....

"It's difficult to explain how a writer writes, a painter paints, or a mime mimes. I think what one produces is an amalgamation of one's life experiences, and how that meshes with they way one is genetically wired."

I think you're so right in saying that it's an amalgamation of so many things that move through us to produce art. And for me, it always feels as though the actual fusion and creation of these things, come from some Higher Power.

"Now, if only my brain was always on duty and working on stories for me. But alas, that's not always the case. Stupid brain... heh."

Herman, I love your stories. They're unique and one of a kind!

Thanks so much for stopping by, buddy! Hope you had an awesome weekend!

X to you, Karin, and Mr. Tyler!

  42. Hey there Katherine~

"Hubba hubba... never heard of Tom Ford. I must live under a rock!"

    HA! Yes, isn't he a hubba-hubba????

And, no, you're not under a rock. MANY people have never heard of Tom Ford. The reason I know of him is because of my involvement in the beauty industry.

OMG...thank you so much for sharing about your playing the flute. I had no idea!?!? WOW...you were offered a scholarship??? That's awesome! And I bet you're faaaabulous too!

"Why did I then leave the music program? I loved to play to PLAY. I hated people feeling they had to compete with me... the ugliness I encountered from others. I just loved to PLAY."

I can totally understand your feelings, Katherine, because I too went through the same thing in acting. The competition can be very ugly - especially in the entertainment field. Even the field I'm in now (cosmetic industry) is VERY competitive, so my time spent as an actor has taught me how to deal with it.

I'm so glad you came to the realization that your REAL love was to just PLAY. That's wonderful, and I admire you for following your heart!

"I am an artist - I can still hit that chromatic scale. But I was never a perfectionist. Never felt that need. I like to do a really good job. But I am able to take care of business and walk away."

Good for you!!!! That's a healthy attitude!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing on this post, my friend! And thank you for your sweet words.

    (((( You ))))

Hope you had a super weekend!

  45. Oh heck, Ron! Here I was getting ready to fix you up with my doctor, Ken. He is a big guy, very charming, very interesting, marvelous sense of humor and I think he's adorable. Ken is tall, not fat. Late 50's or early 60's I think. He tells me he's great in bed! He's very physically fit and just an all round wonderful guy. (He's also Chief of Staff at a major SF hospital. Come on, didn't your Mom ever want you to marry a doctor?)

But then you come along and post this. Tom Ford is what my husband calls a PMF. (The first letter stands for "pretty", the M stands for "Mother" and the F? Well,I'll let you use your imagination on that one.

  46. Linda, your comment CRACKED ME THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The first letter stands for "pretty", the M stands for "Mother" and the F? Well,I'll let you use your imagination on that one."

    You are soooooooooooo FUNNY!!!!

Actually, I really don't have ONE specific 'type', I was just using Tom as an example of perhaps one of them :)

I find myself attracted to many types, as I get older. I've just never been attracted to YOUNG. Even when I was younger, I liked OLDER.

    Btw, Ken sounds AWESOME!

And a CHIEF. WOW! That's great because I hate to cook. And I should be ashamed because I'm full Italian :(

  47. He's not a chef, silly boy, he's the Chief of Staff (or head honcho) at a major hospital. Ken is very rich and neither of you needs to cook. He could hire you a chef! (Italian and you don't cook??? Oy vey!)

From your photo, you look to be a young 40ish. (Damned cute too, I might add.)

Ken could be your sugar daddy but he's really looking for a partner, not a play toy!

  48. "He's not a chef, silly boy, he's the Chief of Staff "

    Bwhhahahahahahahahahaha!

    OMG....and I can I READ?!?!?!? NOT!

What the HELL was I thinking?!?!?!

    Forgive me, dear Linda.

And yes, Italian and I don't cook. I should have my Italian gene repossessed - HA!

I'm actually 56 years old, but thank you for thinking I was 40ish :)

  49. I used to be a perfectionist, but it took too much time and energy so I gave it up! Seriously, it has taken much effort to let things go as they may, but so worth my peace of mind. I'll get back to watch the video in a bit...and yes, *hubba-hubba* is right!
