First, allow me to thank everyone who sent in photographs for this share because they are all AWESOME!

Thanks everyone!

And what I LOVE about these photos is that they encompass such a nice variety.

Love comes in many forms.

Whether it's people, a place, an animal, a beautiful sunset or sunrise, or even something so simple as a certain food or drink we enjoy, the emotion and passion that we feel whenever we experience it...seems to come from an energy within the heart.

“Life is a paradise for those who love many things with a passion.” - Leo Buscaglia

One of the things I love about blogging is that we get to meet people from all over the world who share their life, their talents, their opinions and their passions.

And even though we might be separated physically, the emotions we share through our words connect us through our energy. And in many ways this energy can often touch us more profoundly than the physical.

The Internet is truly like a massive web, which weaves its way far and wide.

I've met so many terrific people through the medium of blogging; people I may not have met otherwise.

And I like that the community we share with each other is diverse. We don’t all have the same interests or always talk about the same things. But that’s a GOOD thing because this is how we learn and expand.

I like that I hang out on the Internet with people who are different than me.

But the one thing we ALL share that’s the same--is LOVE.

So allow me to share some of that love…

Valerie at A Mixed Bag

This picture is a favourite because I love wildlife - especially birds.

dalecooper57 at Diary of an Internet Nobody

Couldn't think of a more unconditional love than that which we received from our late companion, Karla. This snap just about sums her up.

Lisa at Peripheral Perceptions

The ocean is a constant source of spiritual renewal for me. It’s where time seems to stand still so I can adjust my attitude and clear out the head trash. Of course, it may just be the Margarita that’s in my hand.

Secret Agent Woman at Blogging Incognito

"I love adventure!"
An impulsive trip to Vieques, Puerto Rico with a stranger. This captures both my love of traveling to interesting places and my love of being open to the opportunities the universe drops in my lap.

Bijoux at Bytes From The Burbs

"Surrogate Love"
I took this photo yesterday at the Columbus Zoo. The woman was sitting in a gorilla 'cage' behind a glass wall. The baby boy was born May 23rd to Kambera and Oliver and is the first offspring for both. Zookeepers are raising him because Kambera did not show maternal instincts, but they hope to reunite mother and baby.

Meleah Rebeccah at Momma Mia Mea Culpa

Well after much deliberation - I've decided to go with the love of my life -
my son - Justin - who just graduated 11th grade with honors!

Barb at Photo Dreamin’

“Loving Couple At The Rodin Museum"

Babs at Beetle’s Memories And Ramblings

Family. This photo represents the love we have for each other and that I love our family get together's.

Pam at Harts Beat

Love is my dad and mom, brothers and sisters. Despite my flaws and in spite of all my mistakes, they love and accept me unconditionally.

Jay at The Depp Effect

I love so many things (greyhounds, Johnny Depp, insects, art and crafts, Italy ... the list goes on) but right now, everything else is cast into the shade by these two cute little new people. Our first grandchildren, and identical twin girls!

Valerie at Photo A Day Blog

When I think of love, I can't help but think of my family. They have always defined love, not only as a feeling or emotion, but as an action. Their love is not only spoken, but demonstrated by a genuine and willing desire to work as a unit. I feel overwhelmingly blessed and a strong sense of security to have such great people in my life.

Rob at The Luna Park Gazette

This was tough. I went through all the photos in my computer and I could only find touristy, vacation type stuff. Nice enough, but they didn't say "love" to me in a particularly meaningful way. Then I looked at the very last photo in my computer and I found a picture of a mask that my mother made. This one had "LOVE" written all over it. It's something she made with her own hands and, in a way, it keeps her in my life.

Katherine Murray at Shoot Me Now

I love the deer in Corolla, NC. But not just the deer.... the funny faces they are constantly making that can't be seen until you bring their pictures up on a computer. I have countless pictures of them with their mouths open or tongues sticking out. Deer are apparently the comedians of the outdoors!

Have a FAB weekend everyone!

P.S. And if you haven't already done so, please stop by these blogs and introduce yourself because they're GREAT people!

  1. Hi Everyone!

Today I'm getting together with a fellow-blogger who is visiting Philly for the weekend, so I will be responding to comments and visiting your blogs later this evening. Thank you for your patience and understanding...X

  2. Hi Ronnie,
Yay; another blogger visit! That is fabulous; hoping that it was a memorable day for the both of you.
I am really happy to see all the photos that show love. I love them all and won't choose favorites. Love is such a very personal statement. There is of course no ONE expression. And that is good like that!!
It was beautiful to see the love in families and love for the dear creatures that we share this earth with.
Wishing everyone a great weekend and sending back much love to you in Philly ( a city that I love).

  8. Hey, Ron, thanks so much for running my photos and all those all beautiful images from all our fellow bloggers. This just shows how the concept of "love" can take in so much.

"And even though we might be separated physically, the emotions we share through our words connect us through our energy. And in many ways this energy can often touch us more profoundly than the physical."

Oh, this is so incredibly true! Thanks for all your efforts in putting this together. You're helping to make the Internet a little more intimate!

    Have a great weekend, buddy!

  9. Ron, these are just lovely! I'm sorry I didn't know about your project so I could participate, too, but knowing how gosh-awful CRAZY it's been for me of late,, perhaps that's for the best, ha!

Isn't it interesting how many of your blogging friends linked "Love" with "Family"? I suspect I would have, too. It's in the family unit, after all, that we experience our first brush with love, isn't it?

Have a super weekend, my friend!

  10. Ron, each and everyone of these photos are just beautiful and made me smile. The one of the gorilla is so sweet!

And it's true, the internet does connect us in a way that is often very profound. I feel closer with some of the people who's blogs I read than people I know offline. I feel like I know them more intimately.

  12. Hey Barb!

Yes, she emailed me about two weeks ago and said that she and her husband were planning a trip to Philly for the 4th of July weekend.

We had a faaaaaaaabulous day! I took them to see all the historicall sights in my favorite part of town; Society Hill and Old City.

Aren't the photos awesome? Love the variety. Right before I published this post last night, I looked at each one of the photos and the captions again, and it truly brought tears to my eyes because you can really FEEL the love in these photos and words.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. And thank you for a sharing your photo!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  13. Hey there Shae!

Yes, that's why I like to share these photo posts a couple times a year because it introduces one another; allowing us to visit and meet new people.

"I love how blogging brings us all together in ways we never would have without it!"

Meeeee too! And it's so funny because when I first read about blogging (9 years ago) I thought it was the most STUPIDEST thing and could never imagine myself doing it, or even LOVING it as much as I do. Yet blogging has been one of the greatest things I've ever done because not only has it helped me to express myself through words and photos (and taught me so many things), but I've also met some of the most terrific people!

Thanks so much for stopping by, girl! Have great holiday weekend!

" I feel closer with some of the people who's blogs I read than people I know offline. I feel like I know them more intimately."

Me as well. There is a special bond that bloggers have with one another that runs very deep. As you shared, an intimacy.

Thank you for these special photo posts, Ron. I really enjoy them. Like others have said, the baby gorilla is especially dear. And of course I'm partial to the family photos. But I like that mask. It shows love comes from hands and touching and creating.

  39. Wow--amazing collection. You can FEEL the love. I think the babies are just adorable and the mask one choked me up.
Not only did I not participate (seriously--fell out of my head), I didn't even get to the end results! How I missed that one, I do not know. I'll blame that switch over to the new reader and trying to get used to which link to push to get to the post and which will mark it as read and make it disappear. *sigh* I adore changes--as soon as I get use to it.
Right! It's all good. You'll do another and I'll figure out the silly reader thing.
It appears that I'm missing posts in a lot of places--so there's something I'm doing wrong! I will persevere!!!!

  40. Hiya Mel!

Aren't all the images FAB? Yes, you can really feel the love, can't you? And not only within the photos, but the captions as well.

No worries, dear lady. I too am adjusting to this new reader. The one thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't update as quickly as Google Reader. I noticed it takes HOURS to update someones new post. In fact, I have one blogger who's post it's NEVER updated so I had to go back and re-add their feed so that it would work. And you're right, there are too many buttons to push.

Oh well, I'm going to continue with Feedly for awhile, but if by the end of July I don't feel comfortable with it, I may switch to another reader. I don't mind change, but if it's too complicated - no way.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!
