My inspiration for this post came from my dear, longtime blogging friend, Debbie @ Musings by an ND Domer's Mom, who is not only a gifted...
Well, Sunday is that special day when we celebrate mothers.
Therefore today, I would like to dedicate this post to motherhood and all you faaaabulous ladies out there.
As most of you already know, I was blessed with two mothers. One who carried me into this world, and one who carried me through it. Both of whom are no longer on this earth, but will remain in my mind and heart forever.
I think the main thing I learned from my mothers is just how powerful and special women are. Because not only do they have the ability to conceive and birth life if they choose, but they also have the ability to give birth to creation in so many other ways.
Having these two wonderful ladies in my life gave me a deep respect for women; holding them in high regard as valuable and essential to this planet.
"A strong woman is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. Her tears flow just as abundantly as her laughter.
A strong woman is both soft and powerful. She is both practical and spiritual.
A strong woman in her essence is a gift to the world."

Below are a few photographs I took, through which I weaved some of my favorite quotes about motherhood...
"There's a reason some people think they can do anything...they listened to the their mothers."
"Mothers hold their child's hand for a moment, and their heart for a lifetime."
"A mother's heart is a special place, where children always have a home."
"A mother understands what a child does not say."
"I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights."
"I am a mother.
I am not perfect.
But everything in my life
is made with love."
"Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall.
A mother's secret love outlives them all."
"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."
Happy Mother's Day, ladies!
And know that you are loved and appreciated.
