I don't know if any of you are familiar with the term: stud-muffin, but it's a term we gay-folk often use when we see someone who we think is beyond delicious.

And personally, I think Britain-born Clive Owen is a MAJOR stud-muffin.

OH. MY. GAWD!.....TO DIE FOR!

Those of you who have been reading this blog for many years, know that my "ideal type" in a man is dark (or salt and pepper) hair; a scruffy face that contains chips and dents; and eyes that penetrate your soul.

I am not the slightest bit attracted to smooth-face or perfect-body youngin's. In fact, I never liked youngin's even when I was a youngin' myself. No, I prefer men who look aged in wood. And to me, the definition of  "a man" means at least 40-years old.

Viola!

 Enter, Sir Clive Owen...

Now, tell me...don't I have good taste in stud-muffin's?
Be honest.

Backstory with Clive Owen:

From 2004 until 2014, I worked for the Italian company, Bvlgari. I was part of their fragrance division, which till this very day feel that Bvlgari makes some of the most exceptional fragrances in the world (not to mention the jewelry, watches, and leather-goods). I was extremely honored and proud to work for them because everything they produce, is quality.

Back in 2010, Bvlgari launched a new men's fragrance called, Bvlgari Man. And let me tell you, it's an incredible fragrance because it is a brilliant contradiction of things -- it's complex, yet simplistic; it's masculine, yet androgynous; it's smooth, yet stimulatingly charismatic. It's the kind of fragrance that if someone is wearing it and they walk past you, you immediately have to look to see who it is.

It's alluringly intoxicating. And even though I haven't smelled it in years, I can vividly recall exactly how it smells.

I was first introduced to Clive Owen through visuals during the launch of the fragrance because Bvlgari hired him to be the Bvlgari Man.

Which, in the beauty industry, we like to use the term, "the face" of a product.

Now up until that point, I didn't even know who Clive Owen was because I had never seen any of his films.

However, on the day that I attended the Bvlgari Man launch luncheon at one of the hotels here in Philadelphia, the second they began showing us all the media that they would be using to advertise the fragrance (print work, TV commercials, and retail store visuals), I was visibly drooling and just about fainted.Thank god I was sitting down!

Here are some examples of the print work that was used during the initial launch of Bvlgari Man...

I think Clive was the perfect choice for the face of Bvlgari Man because he was the embodiment of how this fragrance makes you feel. And when you get right down to it, that's what fragrance is.

It's a feeling.

And I also think that because these images were shot in black and white, it gives the fragrance more impact.

Look at those eyes!

Here are a few more images of Clive Owen that I found online...

To me, what is so appealing about his "look" is that it's so diverse.
He looks good either scruffy and roughed up.
Or well-groomed and impeccably dressed...

I have only two words.
WOOF! + WOOF!

Have a handsome weekend everyone!
