I hope everyone who observes daylight saving time remembered to adjust their clocks yesterday. I did, but normally I forget; especially when we turn them forward. This year however, I scotch-taped several notes around my apartment (one in my bathroom, one on the inside of my apartment door, and one on the mirror above my computer desk), just to be sure I didn't forget.

And I also kept repeating, spring forward...fall back...spring forward...fall back, because I have hard time remembering if the clocks move forward or back.

I distinctly remember one time when I was still living in Florida and forgot to turn my clocks forward and was an HOUR late for work. I was a hairstylist at that time who booked on appointments, so it created an avalanche of running late for every appointment. And you have no idea how upset I was because I'm ANAL about being on time, whether it be in my work or personal life.

I had off last weekend, so I told myself that even if I forgot about the clocks it was no big deal because I didn't have a time schedule.

It was weird though, because yesterday the sun didn't even start setting until after 6 PM and didn't completely set until almost 7:30. The day seemed so much longer. And it was a beautiful day too. I spent the entire afternoon outside, enjoying the gorgeous weather and taking photographs. Sunday was sunny and cool. Absolutely GORGEOUS!

For some reason, shadows caught my eye. So, I took a bunch of pictures containing highlights and lowlights. I'm also very attracted to interesting angles and geometric shapes whenever I take photographs.

Please enjoy some urban shadows...
