Being a passionate Italian, eating food is like having really great sex because if what you're munching on is REALLY good, orgasm is possible.

And by orgasm, I actually mean those physiological tingly sensations, and audible moaning and groaning sounds we often experience while gradually climbing to that sacred place of nirvana. Except, I figured a way to achieve this without ever having to take my clothes off.

Eating food for me is a sensual experience because it involves not only my physical senses, but my emotional and spiritual senses as well.

I LOVE to eat!

This summer I've discovered something very tasty, which is a delectable fusion of sweet and salty.

Often times when I’m not super hungry, but want a little something to nosh on either between meals or later in the evening while watching a movie, I will combine two of my favorite things: apples and peanut butter.

OMG….you haven’t LIVED until you’ve tried this.

It is truly one of life’s most simple, yet richest pleasures.

Here’s what you do….

Buy a bag of pre-sliced apples. I get mine at Trader Joe’s.

Also, buy a jar of peanut butter. Preferably the natural kind because it has a smoother and more sensual texture. I also get mine at Traders Joe’s. Warning: the natural kind can be a hassle because you have to really stir it well.

Begin, by dipping an apple slice into the peanut butter; making sure to get a big ol’ blob on it, like this.

Next, slowly place the slice into your mouth.

Take it gently and savor the moment because you’ll be tempted to rush.

At this point, you will begin to feel all those familiar sensations of carnal bliss. Take your time and allow yourself to build to climactic finish.

This is how you’ll know when you’ve achieved the big “O.”

Be very careful though, because you’ll undoubtedly have the urge to immediately pop another one into your mouth - it’s highly addictive.

So, if you’re looking for a cheap, but very rewarding orgasm….try apples and peanut butter!

It's nature at its BEST.

Caution: Just be sure to try this alone because you don’t want to end up looking like me….a sensual BUFFOON!

  2. Ronnie,
I am actually having an "orgasmic laugh" because humor is very sensual. Except maybe if in the aftermath, getting slobbered on with peanut butter drool!! :)
OMG... I am tempted to say that "I have seen everything", but, I know that our buddy has plenty in stock for us!!

I don't know what it is with peanut butter. I went from eating it daily as a kid to tapering off. And now, I dislike the smell and the texture. Living abroad has changed my tastebuds. I feel it each time we are back in the States and I end up wincing at the smell or view of a few items that I used to gulp down years back.

I can buy pit in our local supermarket in France but, no thanks! It is not a food that is eaten by the peeps here. The kids use a chocolate & hazelnut spread called "Nutella".

Anyways, I am having a "flashback" to your old posts thinking of orgasmic food experience. I remember the "Chocolate O", which cracked me up so much at the time. I am sure that some of the regulars remember that one.

I swear, when you love your food, you do it with passion!
You gave me my first big laugh of the day.

Happy Monday, babe, and see you soon on the blogs.

    xo

  3. I guess I'll have to take your word for it. Peanut butter I adore but fruit doesn't agree with me. I could see the effect it had on you though so I'm wondering if I can find a substitute for eroticism without taking my clothes off. Have a brill week.

PS I didn't know you could buy ready sliced apples. Hmmmm how's that for progress.

  4. Thank you, Ron! I just got my Monday morning laugh! LOVE the pics! (I love apples with peanut butter too).

I'll refrain from posting what the peanut butter on your face put me in the mind of in the context of your post ;)

    Have a wonderful week!

  5. Ok, I have to admit you surprised me with the food choice. I was sitting back, all ready for some REALLY SENSUAL FOOD CHOICE....like a molten chocolate cake or something hot & spicy! Not kid food, Ron!!!! HAHAHA..........

  6. And now you need to make peanutbutter dip for your apples and then you've REALLY lived! With mixer bledn one cup of peanutbutter (doesn't matter if it's crunchy or smooth), 1 pkg cream cheese, 1 cup of brown sugar, and about a half a cup of milk (more or less depending on desired thickness of dip) I am not kidding when I say it is to die for! You can dip apples or pretzels or pretty much anything you want in it. Try it-you won't regret it!

Bwhahahahahahhhhaahahaa! OMG...you have no idea how ICKY that felt on my face. But hey, ANYTHING for a blog post!!!!

"I don't know what it is with peanut butter. I went from eating it daily as a kid to tapering off. And now, I dislike the smell and the texture. Living abroad has changed my tastebuds."

I understand. I think our taste buds change over the years because there are many things I use to like, that I'm not very fond of now. What's really funny is that I love both peanut butter and chocolate, however I don't enjoy them combined together, like Reese Cups. But apples and peanut butter? LOVE IT!

"The kids use a chocolate & hazelnut spread called "Nutella"."

Yes! Yes! We have that here in States too! Never tried it though.

" I remember the "Chocolate O", which cracked me up so much at the time. I am sure that some of the regulars remember that one."

OMG....I totally forgot about that one - GOOD memory! Hell, I wrote that probably over THREE years ago!

Yes, I LOVE to eat! Especially if it's something I'm passionate about. I love the taste, the smell, the whole experience!

    Bon appetit!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. Have a great week!

"I guess I'll have to take your word for it. Peanut butter I adore but fruit doesn't agree with me."

Yes, I know a lot of people who fruit doesn't agree with them. In fact, I have to be very careful what I mix fruit with. Sometimes if I eat fruit right after I've eaten a meal, it upsets my stomach. I think it's the roughage.

". I could see the effect it had on you though so I'm wondering if I can find a substitute for eroticism without taking my clothes off. "

    Hahahahahahaahahahahaha! That CRACKED ME UP!!!!

"PS I didn't know you could buy ready sliced apples. Hmmmm how's that for progress."

Yes, I didn't know either until I discovered these sliced apples. They are so much more convenient than having to cut them up - they'e the perfect size!

  22. Wow. I think I need to take a cold shower after reading this.

I agree wholeheartedly that food can be orgasmic, which is probably why I'm a budding foodie. For dinner tonight I'm making a sage and black pepper crusted pork tenderloin with green chile and garlic grits, apple slaw, and portobello mushrooms with a basil oil. Just writing that makes me practically cum in my pants.

I like apples and peanut butter, but something that's even better - to me - is pears and cheese, preferably a nice gorgonzola.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh my word! That is so funny! I actually do like peanut butter, although it's something kids eat here. I'm obviously still a kid.
I LOVE the photo of the peanut butter glob on the apple. The texture of the peanut butter looks so inviting, I could eat it off the page :)

OMG, I can't believe you said that because YES, I have had happen. LOTS of times. In fact, a few days ago I was eating some apples and peanut butter, and I guess because it's so hot, the peanut butter was EXTRA running so it slid off the slice and PLOP.....right onto the floor it fell!

Yeah, that's one thing I'm happy about when it comes to eating this, it's healthy. Much better than having a dark chocolate Dove candy bar. However, I can't resist those every once in a while.
